The chassis is really starting to take shape with almost all of the tubes fitted and tacked into place. The next step is to fit the engine and final drive. The engine needed to be fit with custom tubes because we don't have a model that is accurate enough to allow us to fit the tubes from the model.
Here is Scott completing some of the welds on the chassis.
The engine is placed into the chassis and the front engine mounts are fitted.
The final drive is mocked up to the engine to test its placement.
It fits just like expected. It is nice when things work like expected.
